Final Score: Texas-Pan American 56, Utah Valley 53

Orem, UT (Sports Network) - Nick Weiermiller scored 18 points and dished out four assists to lead Texas-Pan American to a 56-53 victory over Utah Valley in the quarterfinals of the inaugural Great West Conference Tournament.

Jared Maree had 11 points, and Matt Mierzycki added 10 with seven rebounds for the Broncs (6-26), who will face top-seeded South Dakota in the semifinals on Friday.

Justin Baker finished with 25 points, 10 boards and three blocks for the Wolverines (12-18), who got eight points and 12 rebounds from Tyray Petty.
