Final Score: Air Force 59, Wyoming 40

Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Grant Parker scored 15 points and Michael Lyons added 11 to help Air Force defeat Wyoming, 59-40, in the first round of the Mountain West Conference Tournament.

Lyons also grabbed five rebounds and handed out three assists for the ninth- seeded Falcons (10-20), who will battle top-seeded and eighth-ranked New Mexico in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Desmar Jackson had a game-high 18 points and pulled down five boards to pace the eighth-seeded Cowboys (10-21), who trailed 32-21 at halftime.

Adam Waddell donated 12 points in the loss for Wyoming.
